Today is National Coast Guard Day, and we thought we’d celebrate by saying, “Thank you” to the members of our Coast Guard for all the brave work they do. We hope that none of our policyholders are ever in need of their services; however if they are, they can be sure not only they will be safe, but their boat will also be covered by their watertight watercraft policy.

The US Coast Guard wears many hats and protects our country from outside threats. They prevent the trafficking of drugs and ensure intercostal trade is fair and legal. They keep our marine ecosystems protected from poachers and boaters that are not obeying the laws. The Coast Guard is also the US’s most precious search and rescue team. Rescuing many people every year who are in accidents at sea.

At Wayne Anthony Insurance we hold a special place in our hearts for the Coast Guard because they work hard to keep our citizens safe at sea. If you are ever in an accident at sea, the last thing you’ll be worried about is how your watercraft makes out. However, watercrafts are often hefty investments. As such, many boat owners choose to think proactively and purchase a watercraft insurance policy that insures their boat in the event of such an accident.

On this National Coast Guard Day we’d like to reflect on all the good work this branch of service does for our country and the people who enjoy spending time in Florida’s beautiful ocean. Thank you for everything you do United States Coast Guard; our coast is safe in your hands!
